Zayed Ahmed, PhD, LPCC, LICSW Board of Directors Chair Dr. Ahmed is the Director of Programs at Avenues for Homeless Youth and a professor in Psychology at Metro State University. |
Zinet Kemal Board of Directors Treasure Ms. Kemal is an IT engineer at MN Department of Human Services and an Adjunct Instructor at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. |
Tuere Tidwell Board of Directors Member Ms. Tidwell is the Board of Directors Chair of Sisters Need A Place (SNAP) and the former Board Chair of Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood in Empowerment (RISE). Ms. Tidwell is currently an Admin Processor with Koch Trucking. |
Ayana Shakir, MA Executive Director & Co-founder Ms. Shakir is a Doctoral Candidate in Organization Development and Change at the University of St. Thomas. She is also an adjunct instructor at St. Catherine University Bachelor of Social Work Program. |
Hodan Ibrahim Program Director & Co-founder Ms. Ibrahim has a degree in Early Childhood Development and over 10 years of experience working with our youth. |
